Check your code
Forge API 1Updated 13 Oct 2026
A Forge file is checked in three places.
1. In the editor
The Problems panel lists syntax mistakes as you type, and nothing else. Format tidies the file.
2. On every saved version of a project
Forge checks each version you save. The status line reads Version 1 passed its checks., with the version's own number, or lists what it found.
3. On every file you upload to Forge
The Strategy card checks the file before it can be chosen.
What the checks look for
- Lint rules lists what the checker flags, with the message for each.
- Repainting and look-ahead and Warm-up are the two concepts the checks look for.
