CONSTRAINT_NEEDS_CODE

CompileSeen in: The editor

What happened

This is a warning, and the file still loads. A constraint that is not a plain comparison of number settings cannot be read without running the strategy, so before a sweep the number of combinations shown is an upper limit.

What to do

To get an exact count, write the constraint as a plain comparison, such as lambda p: p.fast < p.slow.

Example

text
strategy.py, line 16: constraint 2 is not a plain comparison of number settings, so only running the strategy checks it. Where the strategy is not run first, the number of combinations shown before a sweep is an upper limit. [CONSTRAINT_NEEDS_CODE]

The wording of the message depends on your file, and the code does not. A warning does not stop the file from loading.
