# forge.ta.rising

```python
forge.ta.rising(source: ArrayLike, period: int = 3) -> np.ndarray
```

True when each of the last ``period`` bars is above the bar before it.

``source[i-period] < ... < source[i-1] < source[i]``. An equal value or a missing value breaks
the run. The result is a true or false array. Example: ``ta.rising(close, 3)``.

Since Forge API 1.
