# forge.ta.mfi

```python
forge.ta.mfi(high: ArrayLike, low: ArrayLike, close: ArrayLike, volume: ArrayLike, period: int = 14) -> np.ndarray
```

Money flow index: RSI built from the typical price times volume, from 0 to 100.

The typical price times volume is positive flow on a bar whose typical price rose, negative on
one that fell, and counts in neither when it did not move. ``100 * positive / (positive +
negative)`` over ``period`` bars: 100 when only positive flow is left and 50 when there is
none. The first value is on bar ``period``.

Since Forge API 1.
