# forge.ta.harami

```python
forge.ta.harami(open: ArrayLike, high: ArrayLike, low: ArrayLike, close: ArrayLike, long_body_pct: float = 50.0, allow_equal: bool = True) -> np.ndarray
```

Harami: a small body inside the previous long body. Found: 1 after a fall, -1 after a rise.

The first body is at least ``long_body_pct`` percent of its bar's range, the second body lies
inside it and is smaller. With ``allow_equal`` off it must stay strictly inside.

Since Forge API 1.

## Class forge.ta.Harami

```python
forge.ta.Harami(**inputs: Any) -> None
```

A small body inside the previous long body.

body = |close - open|, range = high - low, upper wick = high - max(open, close), lower wick = min(open, close) - low

the first body > 0 and >= long_body_pct / 100 * its range; the second body inside the first body (strictly with equal prices off) and smaller than it

Found: 1 when the first bar falls, -1 when it rises

A bar whose high equals its low, or that has a missing price, is never part of a pattern. Computed on the prices the bars are drawn with: on Heikin-Ashi or Renko bars those are the built candles.

Since Forge API 1.
