# forge.ta.adr

```python
forge.ta.adr(high: ArrayLike, low: ArrayLike, time_open: ArrayLike, days: int = 14, day_boundary: str = '17:00 America/New_York') -> np.ndarray
```

Average daily range: the mean high to low range of the last ``days`` finished trading days.

A trading day starts at ``day_boundary`` ("17:00 America/New_York"). Every bar of a day carries
the average of the days before it, so a day's own range is used from the next day on. The
first day in the data is not counted, because the data may start inside it. A day with a
missing high or low has no range, and the averages that hold it have no value.

Since Forge API 1.

## Class forge.ta.ADR

```python
forge.ta.ADR(**inputs: Any) -> None
```

The average high to low range of recent trading days.

A trading day starts at the day boundary in its own time zone

range of a day = its highest high - its lowest low

ADR = the average range of the last days finished days; the first day in the data is not counted because the data may start inside it

Since Forge API 1.
