# forge.signals.Caps

```python
forge.signals.Caps(*, kind: str = 'caps', note: str | None = None, max_lots: float | None = None, max_positions: int | None = None, max_risk_pct: float | None = None, max_exposure_pct: float | None = None) -> None
```

The most a strategy may hold or risk: ``fg.Caps(max_lots=2, max_positions=3)``.

``max_lots`` is the most one position may be. ``max_positions`` is the most positions open at
once, 1 to 64. ``max_risk_pct`` is the most of the account one trade may risk, and
``max_exposure_pct`` the most all open positions may be worth, as percents of the account.

Since Forge API 1.
