# ingest_scratch_insufficient

The file is larger than the processing service can hold while it works on it.

## What happened

Processing needs about twice the file's size in working space on the machine that does it. A file over the ceiling Forge sets for that is refused with 400 when the upload is created, before a byte is sent.

## What to do

Send a smaller file.
