# bad_request

The request is not valid: a field is missing, malformed, or over a size the service accepts.

## What happened

A request that does not match the shape the service expects is refused with 400 before anything runs. The sandbox's job request, and every route of the API, use this code for a body or a parameter they cannot read.

## What to do

Check the body and the parameters against the reference, then send the request again.
