# RUN_SETTING_IN_CODE

A class attribute is named like a run setting, which the Tester sets for each run.

## What happened

Run settings such as the starting balance belong to a run, not to the file. A class attribute with one of those names changes nothing, because the Tester sets its own value for each run.

## What to do

Remove the attribute. To suggest a value, put it in `defaults`.

## Example

```text
strategy.py, line 6: `initial_capital` does not change the starting balance: the Tester sets that for each run. To suggest a value, use defaults = {...}. [RUN_SETTING_IN_CODE]
```

The wording of the message depends on your file, and the code does not. A warning does not stop the file from loading.
